LG K51 software version incorrect and MEID unknown?!?

I have an LG K51. It is showing software version K500U30k... When it should say K500UM30K. The one on my phone is missing the letter M. And it shows that the MEID is Unknown. I've tried to use LGUP and get an error saying "Cross DL mdh30lm>@mdh30xlm target_product changed".
I'm completely at a loss on what to do.

Welcome to Android Central! Is this phone new to you, or have you had it for a while? Was it originally sold directly from LG, or a carrier store, or somewhere else?

Yes the IMEI shows up.

Thank you.
I've had the phone awhile but haven't really used it as the screen was cracked. It was my dad's phone and my step mom gave it to me when he passed away.
It was sold by a carrier. Boost Mobile. It's carrier unlocked.

Is the phone otherwise functioning correctly? If it is, I don't think this will matter. If you're looking for a system update, don't bet on it -- LG was notoriously bad with keeping its devices (especially the budget or midrange ones, like the K series) updated, and I would suspect that official updates for that phone stopped a long time ago.

Just because a phone is carrier unlocked doesn't necessarily mean it will work on other networks. Some carriers (like Verizon) can be very picky about which phones they allow on their network. It also has to be able to support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) on that particular network, which isn't always the case.

Have you already checked the compatibility of your phone with Visible on their site here? www.visible.com/shop/compatibility

It'll ask for your IMEI -- you mentioned the MEID is unknown, but can you see the IMEI in Settings>About Phone?

I didn't check it on their site because I have a phone and I have friends who have phones that said they were not compatible with Visible yet they are working better on the network than phones that said compatible.
The IMEI is: [redacted by Mod]
Also I talked to Boost and there is a newer software version. However I can't get it to update no matter what I seem to do.

I edited out your IMEI -- it's not safe to share that publicly.

It's still worth running that information through the compatibility checker.

Sometimes, in order to get the official update for a carrier or MVNO-branded phone, you have to be on that network. So you might have to consider paying for maybe a month's worth of Boost to get back on their network, and then see if you can get the update pushed over the air.

Oops. My bad. Sorry still trying to figure out how to use this forum.
I will try that. Hopefully it will work. I'm teaching myself all this phone repair stuff. From physically fixing them to the software part of fixing them and this LG K51 has been my only problem one so far.
I know that the LG K51 can work on Verizon because they had the phone also. But I don't know if because it came from Boost if that part of the phone may be blocked. I was able to see that the phone does have a lot of options for network settings by dialing *#*#4636#*#*

Update.... I was informed by T-Mobile who does the unlocking for Boost that the phone was not fully unlocked. Did manage to get it to have full functionality on T-Mobiles network. As far as the software version goes. I've been waiting for Boost to fix their system so that they can access the account I now have with them so that they could hopefully push a software update through. Once that is tried if it does not work, then the only other option would be to send it back to LG so they can probably just flash it and then send it back to me only thing is I'll have to go through the whole having it unlocked by boost process redone again.

If anyone's got any suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks
