LG Mobile Switch - anyone use it?

I've been using an LG G6 on my secondary line for several weeks, and I'd like to move it to my primary line, on which I'm currently using an iPhone 7. I'd like to transfer SMS/MMS and iMessages from the iOS Messages app, and would like to know whether the LG Mobile Switch app is capable of doing so. Has anyone tried?

I used LG Mobile Switch going from my Pixel to the G6. SMS/MMS did not transfer over, neither did my phone log. I used SMS Backup and Restore app, SMS/MMS and phone call logs transferred over seamlessly.
