Welcome to Android Central!

You can try going in to the developer settings and enabling usb debugging. See if that gets it to pop up.

Go to settings, about phone, tap on the build number 5 times to get the option to appear. Back out to the main settings and you should now see developer options, go in there and enable USB debugging.
