I have an issue with my Nexus 4. Since a few days it thinks it is permanently receiving charge via wireless.
If it is plugged to the USB it recognizes the cable ans says "Charging (USB)". If it is not plugged in it says "Charging (wireless)" while using the battery. This is a bit annoying because the screen stays bright for longer etc., increasing power consumption and it looks disturbing.
What could be the reason? Software? Hardware (e.g. the phone has a very slight crack on the back - temperature sensitivity..
)? Can wireless charging be disabled somehow?
Thanks.
