I think it's an absolutely fair comparison, especially if you're here in the US and already on T-Mobile. The two best phones on T-Mobile are the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Note 2. For me, I want to love the Note 2, but every time I pick up a Touchwiz device I get soooo angry. When family and friends give me their Samsung phones to help them fix them or show them something, I always end up saying "I hate F'ing Samsung Touchwiz!" And I'm tired of trying to find custom ROM's as inevitably there will be things that just don't work, no matter how good the ROM is. Nexus 4 has every bit as good specs as the Note 2, some may be even better (along with a fantastic off contract price). The Nexus 4 having pure Android like on my Nexus 7, which allows seamless continuity when using each device, is just too damn appealing to pass up. S-Pen has few apps, multi-window hasn't rolled out here yet, and since I have a Nexus 7, a phone with a 4.7" screen is just fine. Good to know I wasn't the only one who was debating between the Note 2 and the Nexus 4.
