LG nexus 5

I have a lg nexus 5 for just a month and I have a problem with the battery my phone says that it is at 0% percent battery charge but yet it still works for hours in a day also if I try to turn of the device and turn it back on the only way to restart it is if I take the phone apart and and disconnect the battery which can be a bit time consuming I've been trying to do some research but nothing I also just bought a brand new battery from lg themselves and n installed it in the device but that don't seem to help does any one have that problem. If you do please help

I would try clearing the system cache and see if that helps.
