LG optimous 9300 mah extended battery 44$

Damn, that's a huge battery...can we get a review on this?

Going to o have to wait till people buy it first, but the Samsung Galaxy s3 version has alot of reviews up on amazon and a few on YouTube

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy s3 with a 7000mah extended battery... Because I'm not a chick with dainty hands or an HTC one user :p

I have to say, the battery life on the OGP is "acceptable" but I'd rather carry around a brick and get insane battery life. I may have to order one of these, and if I do I'll post a review.

I'd love some feedback on it if anyone currently owns one, but ZeroLemon seems to have excellent reviews across the board.

I bought this battery in white a few days ago and it should be delivered today! I'll take a bunch of pics and do a little review once it's fully charged over night.

I figured the adaptation would be pretty quick. I currently carry an HTC Thunderbolt with the double-capacity "pregnant" extended battery as my backup phone until the contract runs out. It's a weighty brick, but has impressive battery life, and for a Thunderbolt that's a mighty bold claim. LOL.

Well, HAD impressive battery life. After 18 months, it's lost some of its initial capacity. Still better than the stock battery, though.

I put the stock battery in it and it just felt.. wrong. Too thin to hold properly in my big hands, too light to be substantial.

What can I say? I like big phones and I cannot lie. LOL

Mine finally came in the mail after 4 business days. My initial impressions are that the phone is pretty big now and the extra heft makes it even harder to wrap your hand around the device for one handed use but it's doable. The buttons are very easy to press with the included case wrapping the phone which is a relief, however the case itself seems to have a slightly too loose fit for my taste. I just got done charging the phone up from about 65% to 100% (which took around 1:45). I know the manual, back of the battery and the included business / please rate us 5 stars on Amazon card (which all came in a nice zip-lock type bag inside a bubble padded envelope) say to charge the device for 5+ hours but It's been at 100% for 45 minutes now and the voltage has steadied around 4.3V. I'll be sure to update this post after I get some test data.

The case feels tighter after u use it for a few days ur supposed to do 5 cycles of 100%-2% to get max battery, and charge it for about 8+hours overnight

Don't worry about the stuff on the package, follow this procedure

Update : It oddly seems to discharge then "recharge" itself? I assume this will correct itself when it's run through a fee cycles.

it looks like you can get about 8hrs of screen time with that battery...is it worth it carrying a brick around?

It was very nice not ever worrying about it dying. It hovered around 3 to 6 percent battery for the entire evening. I am a little worried that it is misreading the battery temperature as it never seemed to get over 80 something after it was sitting in the glove box of my brothers car during a 90+ degree day.
