LG Optimus 2x P990 ICS Update

Hi all,

This is my first post, apologies if this has been posted before,

I have just contacted LG support regarding ICS and it's released date, I got this speedy response from them.

'Thank you for your email regarding your P990 handset.

Based on the information you have provided me with and reading through your query, I would like to advise that the 4.0 Android (Ice-cream sandwich) will be available from September.'

So looks like we have a bit of a wait for the official release,

Sadly it's no surprise. The good news is it runs CM9 pretty well ;-)

By the way, I wonder if they will release it before the end of the year... Just arrived to Korea now, and if you have a carried-locked version, you may never get it.
