Does anyone know when the Kit Kat update will come to the F3?

It's supposed to arrive sometime in September... if it comes at all. My VM F3 is on V7, but it's a modded version. That's because my phone is rooted. xclusive36 over at androidforums.com was kind enough to mod V7 for the rooted owners.
