My LG Q60 after a couple of days keeps going back to it's dafault wallpaper after a couple of days. I've tried numerous wallpaper apps even video live wallpapers. I'm going back to Samsung.

Is this only with wallpaper apps? What if you just use an image in your gallery -- does it still revert to the default?

I'll try a wallpaper from my Gallery & see if it does it again. I've used wallpapers from Zedge app & Screenspro app video live wallpapers. I can't think why it keeps doing this. I might go back to Samsung. I'll live chat LG.

I'm always wary of apps that set the wallpaper for you. For static wallpapers, it's always better to download the image manually to your phone.

Does this happen with any live wallpaper app you use? As a test, try Wave Live Wallpaper (which is the one I use the most), to see if the problem is more with the LWPs from Screenspro, or if it has something to do with your phone.

I use to use Wave Wallpapers as my live wallpapers but it came up due to a app update your wallpaper has gone back to it's default wallpaper. Only thing i could do is download a wallpaper from the web then use it as my wallpaper. I won't be doing that as chances it'll do that as well. I wonder if it's just LG phones this happens on?

Where does that notification show up? Can you show us a screenshot of it?

Ok, try installing Toast Source to figure out which app is giving you that notification. I'm just wondering if that's the system or some 3rd party app that's causing the issue.

Be a little cautious with that kind of live wallpaper -- it could be a battery hog.

Were you able to figure out what was giving you that toast notification?

Just to be clear -- when you see the toast notification at the bottom of the screen that says "Due to an app update your wallpaper has gone back to its default wallpaper", when you open Toast Source, it doesn't tell you anything about what served up that toast notification?

Next time you see that toast, get a screenshot and show it here.
