LG Stylo 2 Brand new, will not download apps

[AC Question]

I have cleared cache and data, and did so with the download manager as well. Their was nothing to clear since its brand new. Ive reset the whole phone too. Should i go back to the cricket store and request a new one? Just trying to download basic apps like Facebook and messenger.

Welcome to Android Central! First, you successfully added your Google account to the phone when you first set it up, correct? Second, what exactly do you see when you try to install an app from the Google Play Store app? Does it freeze at the Downloading stage, without any progress? Does it give you any error messages?
