Lg stylo 2 plus owner information not working

[Android Central Question]

The contact information that can be displayed on the lockscreen does not work. I've tried everything. Turned the setting on and off , reducing the amount of characters , shutting on and off notifications, I even tried checking for a wheather app to see of it kept the information from showing. NOTHING worked. It's as if there is a glitch in the system. This happened both before and after I updated my phone. Its currently running Android 6.0.1 any suggestions?

one thing I would definitely do is upgrade your system to Android 7.0 it's been out on all carriers for some time now and I'm pretty sure it would take care of your problem. the stylo 2 doesn't really do all that great on 6.0 it wasn't designed for it very well. if you still have problems after the update to 7 just let me know and I'll work through it with you.

Thank you so much . I might upgrade again but I temporarily solved the issue. My charger was plugged into my phone and the battery charging symbol was blocking the owner information. The moment I unplugged it it showed up at the bottom.

No problem. Yes i Would definitely update if I were you. 7.0 has much better design and features than 6 in my opinion. 7 is much better for the stylo 2

Ok will do. Although I almost bricked my phone doing an update on 30% battery. I don't know what I was thinking.
