LG Stylo 5 preferred network mode 22...

[Android Central Question]

My phone ( LG Stylo 5 )is not connected to metro by T-mobile network both customer service and in-store employees both say my phone is in good condition. However I am not able to change my preferred network mode to anything else as it is grayed out and does nothing. Network operators are not working either and was told by employees that network mode “22” shouldn’t even be an option. Another note is when I try to make calls, my phone thinks it’s in Airplane mode and “ radio off “ appears there. Even when I make sure it’s not on. I have tried all troubleshooting options with Metro, T-mobile, even my Uber driver who took me there tried to fix it. Is there any chance it could be an internal hardware issue?

My Stylo 5 just started doing this a couple of days ago I cannot connect to T-Mobile or any other Tower I cannot make any cell calls outside of my house where I'm connected to my Wi-Fi network without a Wi-Fi network my phone is now useless and T-Mobile can't give me a damn answer but I'm stuck in that Preferred Network Mode 22 and cannot change it somebody please help

Welcome to Android Central! Did you get your phone directly from T-Mobile, or did you bring it from some other carrier?
