I'm going to try and go downtown near the harbor to take pictures tonight. Trying to load up on layers so I can actually stay awhile this time. Last time I wasn't ready.lol❄❄

I did make it down in the city tonight and I was properly dressed besides the need for gloves. I am really pleased with the shots I got tonight so I think I'm going to take these to the computer for editing. Here's a few untouched shots straight from the camera. I had my nd8 filter attached.I can't wait to edit these! uploadfromtaptalk1454208382475.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454208400120.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454208415213.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454208426659.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454208465152.jpg

Do you use a tripod with the long exposure or stabilize the phone on something?

I've been looking into them. Do you have a recommendation? I have a couple for my SLRs but having a camera on a phone with manual settings I might as well use it to the fullest extent.

I recommend one for the flexible ones by Gorillapod which I ironically don't even have myself.lol I'm using the one I usually use with my dslr. I should be getting one next weekend along with a zoom lens attachment.

1 second since it was handheld. I had it sitting on a post holding it with my hand. Wasn't wearing a jacket, so 2 seconds got a small camera shake. Had to pull the ISO up just a little.

1/2 second handheld exposure thanks to OIS. First two are unedited from the camera. Second two were edited in Snapseed. uploadfromtaptalk1454290111684.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454290120764.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454290130980.jpguploadfromtaptalk1454290146182.jpg

I have two slrs I used to take with me everywhere, but with this phone having manual settings, I might just lighten the load.
