80 degrees in central Texas this weekend so we spent some time hiking and at the lake. Unfortunately it was mostly cloudy.

So I don't get to take pictures as much as I used to but every now and then I do come across some pretty interesting places. While in D.C. I saw this beautiful building and saved it in my maps app. I finally had the chance to stop by on my break and get some pics. It's called the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It is a beautiful and huge Catholic church with art and history behind it. I haven't been inside but I got some nice shots from the outside. Also the State Capitol building. I used my GPS mount as a stabilizer for the shot. A quick long exposure shot near a busy highway.Lastly a delivery to someone's house and a little ground lamp caught my eye.

The RAW quality from this phone is ridiculous. You don't even have to edit them in post processing. Some 30 second exposure shots tonight. Last one edited in Snapseed just for fun.

Wow. What a difference that made. It looks so good in black and white with the frame around it.
