Thanks, yeah I was shocked myself with auto mode.

Excellent shots considering the environment in the AF Museum is just about the hardest conditions I have ever seen to get a good pic. The WWII wing always seems to have the best lighting for decent shots though.

So I went the National Museum United States Air Force here in my backyard of Dayton Ohio. Now have been here many times, from elementary school trips to bringing my on kids here and it still amazes me how awesome this place is. Being a Air Force Vet I respect it more. So here are some pics I took all in auto in low light Museum light.

Spent all four years of my AF career at Wright Pat. Seeing the museum photos brought back some memories, thanks!

Some close up nature shots. These are actually the JPG and not the usual RAW files. Untouched.

Make no mistake about it. These macro shots are a lot of work. The depth of field is so shallow that you really have to try to be steady to get the shot you want. It may just be also that I got this cheap lens setup from CVS but it does get you really close to the subject.
