LG V10 (H960) UK release date?

Has anyone heard anything on this? It's now been up on the UK site for a while bit still not available.

Bought the H961N but had to sell on as no 4G compatibility with Vodafone due to no 800mhz band. Shame as I was really after a dual SIM.

Anyway, had a little taster and now I want more!

Sent an email to LG UK support and to my surprise got a very detailed response. Apparently they aren't planning on releasing the V10 in the UK at this time, despite it popping up on their website :-(

Thank you for your query regarding the V10,

The new LG flagship the V10 you may have seen pop up on our UK website.

Currently we have no confirmation on release of this product to the UK market; at this stage we are aware the handset is available to the US market as well as in Korea. Please be aware if you were to purchase one from the US and Korean region we would be unable to assist in the repair process due to being unable to obtain parts for a non-European handsets.

With regards to LTE, sadly unless a UK variant is brought out then we cannot guarantee a non-UK version would work with LTE in the UK, it is possible that the US variant may however it depends on the exact spec of the handset which, because it has not been released in the UK, our support team is unfortunately yet to be given. The best advice I can provide in this regards is to query with LG US as they will have the full specs and should be able to advise you on this. At this stage we as the support team have been told that at the moment the handset is not destined for the UK market. If you are really looking into getting the handset in the UK your best bet is to contact your network provider and let them know of your interest in the product.

If they receive quite a lot of interest its possible your network provider will try and stock the handset however I cannot guarantee anything.

I appreciate your interest in this amazing product and personally I really hope that this eventually hits the UK shelves but at this stage the information we have states that it will not. I do sincerely apologise for any disappointment but if this changes we will be sure to make an official announcement, as there is a lot of interest in the handset and it does look to be a really great product.*

Hi, I'm just wondering if you can tell me if this phone will be available in the UK before Christmas (the H960 variant), as it's now been up on the UK website for a while. I need to get a new phone this year and would like it to be this one.*

Also, will there be a dual sim version of the V10 that will work in the UK (I.e. Support the 800mhz band). I tried the H961N but that was no good here in the UK for LTE.*

Appreciate any info you can provide.*

Total scam...LG sell more expensive v10 to UK model H960 with just 32gb memory. Lost me as a customer.

So, is the LG v10 officially available in the UK? Mine was imported from within Europe so hopefully will have warranty.
32gb is annoying but not a deal breaker due to expandable storage.

Very pleased with the phone.

Contacted LG about registering it , this was their reply "Thank you for your enquiry regarding your LG V10 handset. I will do all I can to assist you today.

Unfortunately, the reason you are unable to register this product on our website is because the V10 is not currently available to purchase in the UK. While it has been released in some countries, it has never been made available through any of our recognised UK retailers.

I am afraid that as this is not a UK model, you will not hold a valid warranty with ourselves. If this was not made clear to you when the product was purchased, I would suggest speaking to the retailer you purchased it from, as they should have made you aware of this.
