LG V10 - I am really loving this phone

Sure..the speaker could be louder..but I added the volume booster app from the play store and it has made it a little bit louder..but the Sound quality with my Sennhiemer ear buds is frigging awesome and the camera is the best I have ever had on a smartphone, including the g4 I had briefly, and takes better pictures than the Note 5 ever did.

Doing a side by side with my Note 5 as much as everyone raves about the the screen quality, this particular v10 looks better, and this just isn't my preference..this screen is drop dead gorgeous. It's crisper, brighter and easier on my eyes.

I am impressed with it and glad my wife wanted my Note 5..

I saw the review of the leather back with wireless charging here and going to get one of those real soon.

Now I do have a issue, not with the phone but with all of the tech sites not really giving this phone credit for what it does. Comparisons between the v10 and the Note 5 really aren't that great because most of these reviewers love the glass backs on the Samsung's and for the life of me I don't know why...they're fragile, slick, cold, easily scratched fingerprint magnets...and while they try so hard to be a imitation iPhone leave much to be desired...but yet people go gaga over them.

This phone feels way better and is easier to hold on to. I do wished the back of it curved like the g4 does and filled your hand like how it does, maybe someone will make a leather back for it that replicates it...

That second screen is pretty cool too..I'm just now diving into it and getting setup how I like it. I like having it personalized with my name on it.

There are a lot of other things that makes this phone stand out too but I am preaching to the choir about these...lol

Signal quality is excellent on AT&T so is wi-fi.

The specs are plenty for the price, but many scoff at the processing power it has, and yet this phone doesn't lag on opening, scrolling, or anything else that I have found yet. I cannot honestly say that about the Samsung's note 5..while very fast in the beginning things slowed down fairly fast. I'm sure folks will say that this one will too, but I take pains closing things out when done same for having excess tabs opened..

While the Samsung's note has a wow factor with the spen if you aren't using it regularly, not having it is no big deal, at least to me...and at $200 more this phone wins hands down.

Glad you like it. That's what's great about Android. So many choices. Get what works best for you.

Personally, although I wanted to try it, I won't get it because of the rear fps. It is hard to use on a desk.

Awesome to see people posting their positive experiences with their devices instead of just posting all the bad and trouble they are having.

Love everything about this device except things seem a little janky.. Worse than my G4.. Factory restore doesn't help. I am pickier than most so what bothers me doesn't bother most. Hopefully MM will make things a tad better.

I haven't touched my Note 5 in 3 weeks. Battery life is knid of sucky, but my device came with 2 extra batteries and there's quick charge. My only complaint game play is quite janky. Even something simple like Hay Day. It's definitely underpowered.

I haven't stumbled with games on my phone. I don't many of them so it wouldn't be a deal breaker regardless. This is the best phone I've used its creative with its 2nd screen.

Very underrated phone. Does so many things well. Stopped using my Note 5 and returned my Nexus 6P. Looking forward to the G5.

4 days with this phone so far and I'm sure that I'll continue to like it more as time goes on.

The light bleed on the small screen is there but not a real issue. The DAC fix works great for my music too.

Friends of mine are intrigued with my choice, since I was happy with my Note 5 and asked why just not just get another Note...but when they see what this phone has over it..they're a little jealous..and when they ask what it cost..they're a little po'd

How is battery life compared to note 5 or nexus 6p? Most reviews I saw put it below note 5 it seems.

I have the note 5 also and the v10 definitely drains faster. But with quick charge and the extra batteries from the bundle it hasn't been an issue for me .

With everything cranked up and turned on same with the Note5 it drains a little bit faster, but I don't do that with any phone.

Location services and both screens are really what I have found that kills this phone fast.

From 3:45 to 5:45 my battery lost 41% basically sitting in my pocket. If I actually used it, I'd go through 5 batteries a day.
Actually, I showed someone two 3 minute videos of the grandchildren. And the phone is hot, always. What if your out for the day and maybe stay over somewhere, how many batteries will you need?

There is either something wrong with your cell radio or Microsoft exchange services is completely running rogue. This phone is capable of amazing results.

The screen shots below show my current use since I last charged the phone. Over 23 hours up time, nearly 3 hours SOT, with 39% left. I never turn off mobile data or WiFi. Of the 23 hours, about 15 of them were on WiFi, the other 8 using Mobile data.

I agree with Tourbound129 - either something is wrong with your phone, or there's an app that's chewing through your battery unnecessarily.

I'm getting a full 16/18 hour day with 10 to 50 texts, at least 2 to 3 hours of phone calls and easily 30 to 40 emails. Then add the battery killer WAZE about twice a day for 15 to 40 minutes each without a charge. Randomly I'll tune into Sirius Satellite Radio for 2 hours or so every other day - although that never seems to hurt the battery much at all.

All this and I'm NEVER below 18%.

I am a nut about using the "Clear All" button to shut down all the apps every couple hours ... maybe that's helping.

I think there's either something with the signal in you area that forces the phone to 'reach' for a signal and that kills your battery, there's an app(s) that's running in the background, or there's something wrong with your phone.

Hope you find a solution.
