So I don't post here much, if ever mostly because I've always been more of an iPhone user but I recently picked up the lg v10 as my new personal device and had a question about it I can't seem to find an answer to online.
So I have tmobile service which I switched to from Verizon about 6 months ago and for the most part service has been good except at my house. My work phone is an iPhone 6s plus and at home I see on average 3 bars of 4g. I noticed right away that the iPhone got much better service pretty much everywhere then my note 4 I had on my other line. But....
This lg blows it out of the water. I'm sitting here now with both phones side by side. Currently the iPhone has 2 bars 4g. And the lg has 4 bars of LTE. Its the same with my usual stops. Grocery store. Wal Mart. Places like that. I live in the far East valley of the phoenix metro and service out here was spotty even with Verizon.
But my question is .... Is there a reason why the lg is clearly getting far better service? I've been a long time iPhone fan and have always gotten better signal with them then the androids id had and both these phones are supposed to access the same LTE bands so I'm curious if there's something different about this phone that maybe lg isn't advertising.
Also how is your experience in battery life with this? I just got mine less then 24 hours ago but was super disappointed with the new iPhones battery and even more disappointed with the galaxy s6 edge plus battery that never reached even close to what review sites claimed.
Sorry that's so long lol
