My V10 is running GREAT on lollipop, I have no complaints. Its been smooth, fast, snappy, efficient, PLENTY of battery capacity for my needs. Based on what I have read I am not so sure I want MM yet. Not everyone has been happy with it. Many want to go back to lollipop and can't for various reasons beyond this discussion. FWIW, I got my Verizon V10 December 24, 2015. Installed the "11B" update on January 11, 2016. Not exactly sure what that upgrade did, since I am so new to Android all together I really can't tell.
Out of curiosity... How important are security updates between adjacent releases if I am not doing anything really risky with my phone?
>I don't open www surf on my phone
>I don't click on "mystery links".
>I use access lock and turn off any permissions my apps don't need
>I only install apps I regularly use, and make regular habit of deleting those that I no longer need.
>I only install apps from play store from respected developers that don't have history of malicious activity.
>I have deleted all apps that I can not completely turn off in the background. So Amazon and facebook are run through Chrome.
