LG V20 design flaws that I've noticed

During phone calls, the proximity sensor is active and turns off the screen when it's close to your face, then turns on the screen again when you take it away from your face. Sometimes it's annoying because it switches back and forth too slow, especially when I have to look at my phone during calls. I've looked but there isn't any option that I see to turn it off.

Not that bad but another flaw is when the phone is in your pocket or faced down, then you pick it up and very quickly try to double tap to wake, it doesn't work right away. You would have to tap 3 or 4 times.

Also lately my fingers have been really dry and chapped and that makes the fingerprint scanner inoperable.

The battery performance also dropped a bit. Used to get a solid 4 hours SOT now it's around 3. I have 4 batteries that I cycle through. Not too bad a problem because I can easily swap. Could be because I have more apps on it.

Are there any solutions to the above issues? Have you found any flaws on your V20?

I just installed Greenify Donate and my battery last well over 24 hours. It was great until recently an all of a sudden I needed to give it a charge mid day to make it to bedtime and in the AM (6:00 or so) it would have gotten down to 15%. Now when I wake up it still has 40% plus. I am not a heavy phone call user but text all day, check emails, and other stuff all day since I am retired and sit in front of the tv unless I need another beer.
