LG V20 - Order/Shipping Discussion

So mine was supposed to be delivered on Monday. But I had to go to work and calling in sick wasn't an option since I used up my allotted sick days without a doctors note.

Long story short, while I'm at work tracking says "delivered to front door". Keep in mind signature confirmation is required. Work ends and I book it home only to find nothing. Every single theory as to why no box was there runs through my head.

Forward to Tuesday (my day off) I had to wait for my neighbor to come home to see if she had accepted the delivery for me. While waiting I hear a knock at my front door. It's the ups guy! He apologized that he had mistakenly logged in the wrong info into the system and handed my the box. I signed and told him it was all good. I finally got my v20!

Got my Verizon one last night. Thankfully FedEx paid attention and my wife signed for it. They have a habit of going to the wrong door despite it being listed in the delivery instructions where to go, and taking 2-3 attempts to deliver. Funny side note, last time I had to put a note on the other door that simply said "FedEx: Read your delivery instructions." I think it may have finally sunk in. Lol

Now the fun task of setting everything up.

Last time I put a note on my door for FedEx to drop the package, they ignored it and I had to fight with the local distribution center to release the package.

I wasn't asking them to simply leave it. The delivery instructions just tell them to use the side door because we often can't hear knocking at the front door.

Mine arrived today despite the tracking number saying it was 4 hrs away....

Got my v20 from sprint via mail today. A little annoyed that it doesn't have a screen protector preinstalled. instead it had the dont text don't drive sticker.

Mine came this morning (yay!) went to Best Buy with my Note 3 for trade in and walked out with $200 bb cards. Only issue I'm having is there was no packing slip or receipt of purchase in the box, which I need for the headphones. The best buy people looked but couldn't find it. They suggested calling best buy online & see if they can email it too me. So, we'll see.

So I preordered mine at a T-Mobile store on the 24th, and not only has it not even shipped yet but I'm now being told it's on back order. Expected ship date 11/19 - 12/2. Has anyone been able to just go online and buy it through T-Mobile?

That's weird, I ordered on the 26th and received it yesterday evening. I didn't order anything with it, just the phone. I have heard others that got the free tablet had ship dates that far back though, did you get in on that deal?

Nope, just the phone. That's the answer I've gotten from calling customer service and going back into the store though. I'm gonna go to a different store tomorrow to place an order and see if I get the same result. Pretty frustrating to pre order and still not have it.

Pre-ordered the V20 from Newegg. Ships 11/11 (supposedly). In the meantime I am gathering accessories so I have everything when it arrives.

Verizon sucks butt holding out on Best Buy's allocation. Verizon has plenty now, but STILL no shipments to Best Buy warehouses. If Verizon would give me $200 credit for my G1 like BB, I would buy from Verizon. They are offering $0 for the G1.

Best Buy of course also sells a lot more LG products than phones, so obviously getting a purchase deal for other products for each V20 they sell. Verizon does not have this, hence the different "deal".
