LG V30 doesn't see Google Drive backup from LG V20

Hi All - I had an LG V20 running Android Marshmallow (I think) with T-Mobile as the cell service provider. It recently had an unexpected hardware failure which forced me to do a Jump! plan upgrade to an LG V30 running Nougat. Since it was unexpected, I wasn't able to run a planned backup of everything on the V20. However, an auto backup was run just before the failure and saved to Google Drive. As of now, it's still there.

All of my apps are back. The photos were backed up else where. The only thing that I'm missing are contacts and a bunch of memos that I saved in QuickMemos. I'd really like to get them back in some form, even if they aren't on the phone.

When I open my Google Drive app on my V30, expand the left hand menu, click on backups, it shows the backup mentioned above and includes app data and device settings details.

When I attempt to run a restore under Settings -> General -> Backup & reset -> Backup & restore, Google Drive comes up with a "No backups" message.

I'm really hoping that my QuickMemos data is in the backup. I need some assistance in how to retrieve that backup. Does anyone have any ideas on how I may be able to either a) download the backup on to my LG V30 or b) download the data on to my laptop?

Regards!

If you saved the contacts as contacts, they'd be at Google Contacts. If any of them are missing, tap More, then Recover, and you can recover any contacts deleted within the past month.

If they were only in QuickMemos, I don't think they get backed up unless you manually back them up (or use TWRP or CWM to back up the entire phone).
