LG V30 downloaded photos from web dont show up in gallery.

I can find them in file manager. I have two download albums in Gallery, but neither of them contain my downloaded images. Getting frustrated! My S7 edge didnt have this problem!

Welcome to Android Central! What app are you using to download the images? If it's the Google app, then go to Settings>Apps, select Google, then Permissions, and make sure Storage permission is turned on. Then download those images again -- this time, they should save to the main /Download directory. If Storage permission isn't turned on, then the image files save to a protected system directory called /document, which you can't access.

That has done it. Thank you. I had set permissions for Chrome, but not Google. Knew it had to be simple!
