Even though Pixel 2 will be Verizon exclusive, it'll will be available via Google store like last year which works on all carriers so personally could care less if they sell on Verizon or other carriers as long as they sell via Google store.

Is there a difference between the Google and Verizon issue?

No way will you cave to a different beast

My MXPE is running so poorly I may not have a choice.

Spent some time with the Note 8 again today at Best Buy. Besides the Bixby button and the fps location I really like the phone.

Well if you can't wait due to technical problems I get it. I'm not a Sammy fan but if I was the FPS would kill it for me.

Bad battery and now a charge port that's giving me hell. Trying to hold off because my daughter's G6 has been mostly great and I really like how the V30 is shaping up.

Like everyone though I rely heavily on my phone for work and otherwise.

In your position if I really wanted a specific phone I would find a cheap phone on Swappa to hold me over.

If I were in his position, I would just find a good deal on a new V20, snag a spare battery /charging cradle, and call it a day 😃.

But he wants a V30. I'm sure he's considered that but I'll let him speak for himself.

Sounds like he's already having a bad experience with a phone that has a non removable battery, but hey, maybe next time will be better, eh?

It's not out yet but if you want to deem that as a bad experience, by all means. The same thing happened with the V20 while people were waiting for it to be released. As a V20 early adopter I can vouch for it being a great phone, but it's not all about the removable battery. The V20 will be around for awhile especially if you stock up on batteries. It does like all phones have an end of life cycle.

Can't blame him for wanting the V30, or the Note 8, for that matter. Either one should be a great upgrade.

Kinda sorta... I never keep phones for more than a year until my current phone. My MXPE was great but it's showing it's age at 2 years.

I did look at the V20 when it was released and considered it but I really didn't care for the secondary display. The V20 and the G6 are what peaked my interest in the V30 actually.

I was considering these 2 and the upcoming Pixel 2 XL. I've lost interest in the Pixel for whatever reason.

LG really needs to get the V30 out there and into consumer's hands. The best advertising for any product is good reviews from satisfied customers.

Reading forums like these everyday will make you more impatient for the device. Most consumers are not like us, and won't wait around for a device and will just buy something when they are ready (ie. Contract is up, damaged device, or they have some extra cash/holiday gift).

I've been telling people who are looking for a phone now to look at the V30, but those sales may be long gone before the phone is released (if the mid late Oct deadline is correct). If this phone sees easy availability for the first time in Nov. then the holidays will be when this device actually takes off, which is a shame because the Note 8s and new iPhones will be in hands well by then and that will turn sales away.

International phones usually cost more. A lot of foreigners enjoy importing phones from the US because it's usually cheaper in price. They drive up the price high in other countries.

I just posted elsewhere that I would give LG until tomorrow. I had given up and was planning to buy the Note8 (Jump on Demand with tmobile).Well, this gives me some hope.
