LG Viper Update

I have posted the question to the Sprint forums for the LG Viper, this was posted on September 2nd:
"There is a source saying that the LG Viper 4G LTE is going too Jelly Bean in November. LG Optimus Elite is going too Ice Cream Sandwich in November. then later If the Carriers approve it. LG Optimus Elite was go to Jelly Bean Q2 of 2013. Waiting on LG Opensource codes too be revealed"

Sprint Community: Viper to get Android 4.0 (ICS)?

Sprint is notoriously slow in updating OS's. LG Viper source has been released for a while, but that is gingerbread based. Lets see what happens by the end of Q3, We will eventually get it, just may take time.

Its a OTA that hasn't been released yet. Please read up before posting

There's probably a reason they took it down... I'd wait to try an install. Sprint probably hasn't even gotten to optimize it yet.

yeah theres two files in the rom an android ics.tar.gz and a kernel ics.tar.gz and the read me says you have to have the android sdk installed and the 14 branch i think it is for ics then thereas like 6 commands to have an outputed rom but you have to have Linux or atleast Virtual machine running linux on windows or VMWare running ,... and also the android sdk ,... I'm ganna try and get it workingover the next few days mabey a week ,.... who knows We might have a working CWM from system.img and Devise specific things, so if we have a working CWM 6 compile commands aint too bad ,.... its the 300-500 MB that'll get ya

well I have a triple boot computer with Win7, the new Ubuntu and the Ubuntu without unity so Im pretty set on linux/windows problem
