LG Vortex Storage Problem

A friend of mine has the LG Vortex. It says that there is low space. So I tried to move stuff from the internal memory to the SD card. I downloaded OI File manager and it wont let me move stuff onto the SD card. It just says, could not move file. If anyone could lend any help it would be awesome.
