lgk20 plus question

i have the lg k20 plus lgmp260. and as of late the screen seems real sensitive. i mean it like to double up on keystrokes. if i'm playing a game and tap to move something it like to do this 2 or 3 time instantly, if i type using the keyboard, or entering data like in a notepad or setting up a camera or device that needs username and passwords it double or triples the tap everytime.

i turn the phone off and back on and it still does this. so did we get some update on this phone or google or something/. or is this phone starting to show wear? i hate to have to get another phone as this has been working good for me, but i'm not liking this double data entry issue.
