Why do i get this message when i try to uninstall an app in menu? : Unfortunately the process com.android. settings has stopped.

Welcome to Android Central! Which app are you trying to uninstall? Does this happen when trying to uninstall any app?

Yes this happens with any app i try to uninstall. I do understand using safe mode to uninstall an app but I'd like to try to fix this so it works properly without safe mode.

May I ask how you're attempting to remove an app. Are you trying to remove bloatware or other system apps?

This also happens when this device is in safe mode i try to uninstall any apps i have downloaded i get this message - unfortunately the process com.android.settings has stopped. How can i fix this? Thanks

I should mention i rooted my phone with kingoroot and everything was fine until i accidentally deleted the superuser part of kingo root and these problems started.

Well, that would be your cause and your solution. You need to reflash the phone. Also, you don't delete apps in safe mode. Safe mode boots up with nothing other than the stock included apps. Its for trouble shooting, not deleting.

Also, you can put more than one item in each response, or use the little pencil mark in the upper right corner to edit once you've posted

Someone once said ignorance is bliss but I'll accept a solution. When you say flash the phone that be the same as a factory reset? Thanx
