I'm on T-Mobile and I am still waiting. Not to worry. I had to do the same thing with my G4. Then I had issues actually being able to install it.

I got my V10 a few days ago (T-Mobile). When I turned it on the update was scheduled for that evening. I updated with bridge right away. I guess it's the luck of the draw. Good thing - it is VERY solid. No problems at all and battery is great. As good or better than my old G4.
