So Li-Ion batteries like frequent charges. But is it good for the battery to charge from for example 90% to full? Also does the circle barrery widget and battery monitor app drain the battery?

I use "battery circle" and experience no battery drain from the app, it puts an icon in the status bar.

This link will explain the battery stuff for you. For good battery health don't let them drain to empty frequently or continually top them off.
