GOOD NEWS!!!!! I discovered how to fix the camera malfunction.

First - uninstall the Liberty Toolbox and then re-download it. The different patches for DX and D2 will appear in the ROM manager in the new Liberty Toolbox.

- Go into Liberty/ROMs/ and delete all files with D2 at the end of the name
- Go to ROM manager in Liberty Toolbox, download and apply the DX Fix patch.
- Go into Liberty Toolbox, download the full 2.0.1 rom, install and do not click wipe.
- DON'T INSTALL THEMES

This 100% works on my DX. All functions of the ROM and Camera work.

When you say DONT INSTALL THEMES,, why? Is it a deodex gb issue?

thanks for all of the ideas and sharing all of the fixes. im actually gonna sit down and spend some alone time with my wife's X right now to see if i can get to the root of the problem. there seems to be alot going on when it comes to little problems within Liberty2.0 but it seems that they can all be fixed. once again. thanks AC community

#1. I do know Liberty 2.0 is not compatible with GB..yet

#2. The warning about themes came from one of the gurus with regard to Liberty. It seems Liberty does not play well with them, don't ask me why. But the fix worked 100% for me and the person who gave me the fix specifically warned not to install themes.

All I know is that I spent hours trying many things to get my camera back working until the dev determined the issue for DX owners was caused by the wrong patch being in the Liberty Toolbox (patch for D2). Once the proper DX patch made available, I applied it, reloaded the full 2.0.1 Liberty 2.0 build WITHOUT a wipe and my camera function was back.

I still have the donate toolbox on my phone but havent done anything with it yet. I SBFd to 2.2.1(cuz of Liberty install issues) and now Im updated to 2.3.3 deodexed, juiced, andd extras+CRT. The toolbox though, it now has another update 2.0.2 in the Market. THink I will wait for Liberty to be offficial and stable, Ive been thru quite a bit last two weekends w this phone plus this GB build really is fantastic in alot of ways. But hey you got your stuff workin, thats awesome, now take some pics and post them in the pictures thread for us

Proud to say I am now on Liberty 2.0.1 after SBF'ng back to 2.3.3 and Im lovin it. I am now going to stick with this and will work with upgrading as it comes along. Long live Liberty!

Update: I am on 2.2.1 for this and looks like I'll be sticking there. Ofc everyone knows now the GB thread has blown up cuz of the ota stuff.
