Lifeproof S5 Case Failure - Rubber became brittle

Let the video speak for itself. But seriously, I think this is a bad batch of cases! How else does rubber become clay like so soon?

Are you sure its authentic? There are counterfeits out there on Amazon and other www retailers. Definitely contact lifeproof they will take care of you, if your case is 100% authentic and not a counterfeit.

I cracked the FRE' case on my iphone 5C and they sent me a nuud case as a replacement after a 20 minute phone chat. I used that nuud case for a couple years, it did wear after all the abuse I put it through, but the rubber outer skin remained secure and solid.

It could also be your skin and fingerprint oil chemistry, reacting with the material. We all sweat and perspire differently. I never had that problem with mine but it wouldn't surprise me if others did. Good Luck though!!
