Light Leakage Around Bezel?

Got my replacement. Has the same exact issue. Guess I'll just settle with it and accept its normal. Sigh.

So now that auto rotate broke on the replacement. Ugh. My luck with phones... Time for another replacement :/

Trust me this is nothing compared to what I had to go through with my HTC One M7 3 repairs in total 6 months in the repair.

Hopefully its third time lucky for you. i've got abit of light around the sides like you but it doesnt bother me too much as everything else works flawlessly. Can easily get 4-5+ Hours of SOT time (Best being almost 6 Hours). Phone doesnt really overheat for me, max temperature its been on is 32C which is around 89F.

The 2 replacements I've had both had a little bit of light leakage around the bezel so I'm not too worried about it anymore. I've accepted it's normal haha.

Oled display are not backlit. Each pixel is illuminated separatly. What you are seeing is refraction. The display is made of curved glass. Light is refracting in the curve and making it brighter from the side.
