Light under the battery cover

Before Thunderbolt came out they had some videos of unboxed Thunderbolt and when they removed the batter cover there was a white blinking light. There is no light under my battery cover on the TB. Anyone know why they took it away. I think it lookd pretty cool

Are you sure those weren't just the LDI's (liquid damage indicators) reflecting light back into the camera?

No it was defiantly lights
