Is anyone using Lightflow with the Note 7? I had an issue with this on my Note 5 after the 5.1.1 update, and was wondering if this problem has been resolved. Thanks in advance.

Havent used LightFlow in quite a while. Been using Light Manager in its place and it works great

Light Flow is working on my Note 7. If you purchased the app, you need to also download the Light Llow Legacy app. That fixes the issues with Samsung devices on MM. Just follow the instructions and make sure to reboot your phone once you completed your set up.

How do you have light manager set up? It worked fine on my 6p but now it doesn't trigger the led light. The led will only go off for stock

I have it set to alternating. I noticed after the security update that only the blue will flash for sms/mms but the other apps still work

Thanks for the replies. For those that have Lightflow working, do you all have both the legacy and paid versions installed?

I installed only the paid version. It gave me a link to legacy which I downloaded. It then automatically uninstalled the paid version. Legacy works great. No issues.

I don't have the Note 7 anymore but still have my S7 Edge. I have the paid version and downloaded the legacy version. Both versions are still on my phone. I do recommend that you buy Light Flow if you haven't already. I'm in constant contact with the dev and he works really hard to fix the issues with Samsung devices. Out of all the apps that I have purchased from the Google Play Store, I get the best support from Light Flow.

I agree. Great guy. We even chat about BBC.

Definitely a great guy. He responds really quickly. I do chat with him about other stuff too.
IMO, he should charge more for the app considering how much work he has to put in for every major update.

The vast majority of users don't care about the led. That's why Motorola dumped it. If he charged more sales might be pretty weak but he certainly deserves more. I paid a buck way back when OG Droid came out... my first smart phone. What a great led it had. Just about every color and really bright. Never had another phone with so many discernibly different colors.

I also agree. Very knowledgeable and responsive developer. And a fantastic app. Love being able to assign contact-specific colors. Unfortunate that Samsung had to mess with this.

You are right that most people don't care about the LED notification light. I'm a long time Blackberry user and Bebuzz was the best selling app for BBOS. The devs would charge us every time there was a major update and we paid for it because it was such an excellent app. When I switched to Android I never thought I would find another app better than Bebuzz. Although Bebuzz had some funky led lights, I much prefer Light Flow. I never got the same level of customer service with Bebuzz as I do with Light Flow. I paid the full price because I thought it was so cheap and I still think it is.
My first Android that I got with an LED light was the HTC Nexus One. I had to root the phone and put CM7 to get the track ball to light up in different colours. It was so cool. I think I bought Light Flow when I had the Motorola Atrix. Some Motorola's still have the LED light but it only blinks white. If it's a popular phone, I'm sure someone at XDA has a custom rom to get it to change colours.
I'm just happy that Samsung continues to make phones with the LED notification light and we have Light Flow. :)

I have been having an issue w SMS and MMS... Want a green blinking LED and just can't get it to work. I emailed the dev and he responded:

Hi
Samsung changed the messaging app on the note 7, I've got support coming in the next release due in about 1 weeks time.
Cheers
