Anyone having an issue with the app?

1. It has my notification sounds all the same even though I specified different sounds for different notifications.

2. Every time I received a notification the sound doubles, it plays the sound twice.

Are these two issues known? Is it something that has a work around, or maybe I set up incorrectly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Note: all LED notifications work properly

I only have sound enabled for SMS so I can't speak to #1, but #2 happens to me, too.

Dont set sounds for notifications in light flow, set them in each specific app that you have notifications set for. Either that or JUST set them in light flow and turn off sounds in the apps. Dont do both, lightflow does not override the defaults.

I will imagine your problem #1 is because your phone is using the default notification sound for all of your different apps, then you have them customized in lightflow for the second sound.

best bet is to set the notification sound in the actual app and not use lightflow for sounds but only for the LED.
or you can disable (silence) the notification sounds in the app, and use lightflow for everything.

but as long as you have 2 different apps setup to play sound for 1 app, you are going to have 2 sounds playing.

OK I'm going to try to set it all through the actually apps and just use the vibrations and lights. Thanks for the responses

Don't set sounds or vibration patterns for the notifications. Just use it for the LED notification. Let the system and apps handle sound and vibrate. It gets way too messy trying to let lightflow handle everything.

I have the same issue even after changing the settings on lightflow to just the LED.

Anybody have any luck with 3rd party message apps working alongside Lightflow?

Only one that worked for me was Chomp and when they added Ads I deleted it.

The in app notification light options on GO SMS also did not work on my Nexus.

GoSMS works great with light flow. You just need to disable the LED light in GoSMS I believe and it works as long as it is set in Lightflow. I am pretty sure that is what worked for me. Lightflow is a pain to set up at first but once it is configured right it is awesome.

Yea, I've got the few configurations I want set up.

I'll try again since I did try it awhile ago. Do you disable the stock messenger app or just shut of the notifications?
