Limit processes (non root)

There is that option in the development menu to limit down to 4, 3, 2, or 1 processes, I'm seeing this reset from 4 to standard. I'm guessing it does this on reboot. Anyone know if this is the case?

I'd also like to know if there is an app that does this for my Acer Iconia tablet, I'd like to limit processes on it. But mostly I'm wondering why my s3 keeps resetting to standard.

It is an ics thing. It resets on all phones. I haven't seen anyone fix it yet. Rooted or stock.
