Android Central Question

Tictid (10) android box used to work with my system, but moved to another TV in another room, and now get limited connection message. Unplugged Tictid, router, TV. Specified router IP. Forgot WiFi and then reconnected. No luck. Any more ideas?

Since it was working out OK previously and now that it's a problem after re-locating the TV it sounds this other room just too far outside the effective WiFi coverage range from your router. If you have a mobile device when you're standing next to your TV is the little WiFi icon in the upper Status bar showing a good or weak WiFi signal? If it is weak, you might be able to increase your router's coverage range but repositioning your router. Keep in mind the WiFi signals a typical consumer router is relatively weak to begin with so coverage is usually limited, and things like appliances, metal ducting, and just walls themselves can be a problem. Read through this nice guide on how to configure and optimize your router's WiFi range:

Your Tiktid box has an Ethernet port too, so another option is to use an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi. Of course that might not be a viable solution since it's in another room but a big plus point is a physical wired connection will be more consistent than a wireless one.

I moved this to the Android TV forum for more specific traffic.
