Line Access Fee?

I'm thinking of switching from Verizon to T-mobile. Currently with Verizon they charge a fee for the plan then a $20 fee per line for a smartphone line "access" fee. We have 4 phone lines so that $80 adds up quick.

Does T-mobile charge these fees or is it just the flat plan price?

What you see on the site is what you get -- No "Line access fee" on T-Mobile.

Probably the best way to equate the two would be, for example, their 10gb plan. Includes 2 lines. So the plan includes the "access fee" for two lines. And $20/line "access fee" for each additional line. I would think it's more a matter of semantics and how Verizon has their plans baseline laid out (for instance, the "plan" doesn't "include" any lines, so you have to pay the "access fee" for EACH line).
