Linux on Dex is dead

Just received the email. I wont post it all here but here is the closing paragraph.

NOTE — Linux on DeX will not be supported on Android 10 Beta. Once you update your device to Android OS 10, you will not be able to perform a version rollback to Android Pie. If you decide to update your device to Android 10 Beta, we recommend backing up data before updating.

Of course the kernel is still Linux. And someone may come out with a Linux emulator in the future.

Are you saying Dex is dead indirectly? I invested in monitors and docking stations. Since the Android 10 upgrade, I've had a miriad of problems. I've checked everyday for a software upgrade or fixes, but nothing. Should I assume nothing is forthcoming?

Edit: Cancel. I found an article and I see that this pertains to a Linux interface over Dex.

Dex has felt like it has been unsupport for a while now sadly.
