How do I listen to FM or Sirius radio while on Android Auto? Pandora or Amazon automatically takes over

It's not integrated in, you have to switch out of AA and into the head units native mode. It would be nice if it was integrated, perhaps someday.

While the interface is not integrated, you can still listen to XM or FM while getting all of the benefits of AA (voice still works). At least with my Pioneer 4100 I can change channels without switching the interface back to the radio.

Yes you can listen to the radio while using Android Auto but it's awkward, at least it is in my Volt, because the radio controls aren't available on an AA screen, you have to switch to the non-AA screens. The volume and favorite paddles on the steering wheel do work, but you are doing that blind. It would be much better if the AA voice control could also handle the XM radio just like it does the streaming services.

This is where the double screen of the accord comes in handy. the top screen can show the radio station information and have AA maps on the lower screen or you can just use the voice prompts and the turn arrow from maps in the top screen and put the radio on the bottom screen.

I'll try that on my Soul, but whatever app I was listening to last ( Pandora or Amazon usually) takes over without my doing anything but selecting AA on the touchscreen or plugging in phone. I'll try going back to Kia screen and and selecting FM or Sirius and see if it'll stay on radio. I love the great texting function, the safety of the voice reading message and your reply and whether to send or not, but want to easily listen to the factory radio at the same time.
