What's the green check mark next to a contact name in my recent call log? It's only there for certain contacts.

From what I can gather, it's that your carrier verifies the number.

I haven't favorited any contacts so not sure why I have the green checkmark.

Not sure , that was my guess because only my favorite were with green check mark

Anyway to remove this feature? Honestly makes the call logs look messy.
