Live app problems

Just switched to an S5, and loaded up my football app (Fotmob), but it will not work when not on wi-fi. I downloaded a similar app (Live Scores), but the same problem, therefore there must be a phone setting. Any ideas?

All others apps work fine (Facebook, Twitter, etc etc).

Check to see if you limited these apps to WiFi data either on the phone's data management option or maybe an internal setting within the app (most will include this, to avoid data overages).

Been down that route and there are no limits set that I can see on either app.

I'm at a total loss here, they are two completely different apps (which do the same thing in the end), but same problem.

Do these services have a webpage you could try? I'm wondering if your carrier blocks traffic from them. Not unheard of, especially if not in the US, but I've also experienced a carrier accidentally blocking access to YouTube before, so...

I've downloaded a third different app, and that seem to be working. I wonder if the other two are not fully compatible with the latest version of the operating system? strange.
