Live bracelet broke

Check your screws. I went to put this on today and the metal buckle came off in my hand. I have no idea where the screws are - I searched high and low with a flashlight even.

I actually haven't had any gripes about this watch but this is inexcusable.

So this is kinda a disaster.

Called Samsung. Would have to send the watch in for repair - still an option but a garbage one. They can't sell me a replacement band - none exist.

Called Google. They can't do anything. The guy actually suggested I "go to Walmart or something and get a few screws put in". Great idea guy. The screws are kinda specialized.

Bottom line - stay away from all of these wearable devices for now. Total wild west. No support - I think they fully expect us to discard the husks of these things as they break.

$12 later and I have a look that I'll be able to torment Apple Watch owners with. Love it.

So this is interesting. I got a replacement Gear Live because of another breakage issue. This one doesn't have screws like my old one. Permanent rivet type fasteners on this one. Hopefully the metal end stays put!

Are you sure your first one had screws? I ordered mine on release day from Google and it has the rivets like your replacement model.

Sorry to drag up an old topic but this just happened to me. 4 days short of warranty expiration. Google sent me a whole new watch!
Still haven't found another band that looks good....
