Live wallpaper

So I noticed there is a new live wallpaper after the ICS update. I'm wanting to use it but I remember an old myth or maybe truth that live wallpapers kill your battery. Is this true?

Minimally. Try it. What could it hurt...worse case scenario it does eat your batter and you go back to a static wallpaper and plug your phone in.

Correctly written LWPs don't kill your battery... often though, it is trial and error. I recently picked up the S3 LWP (the dandelion one) free in the Play store -- looks great on our screen and doesn't hurt the battery.
