This is my first android, and I want to upload all my cds onto my phone.
When I connect my phone to my computer, my computer recognizes my phone only as a camera.
How do I get my computer to recognize my phone as a removable disk?

Also, what is the best way to get the audio player to recognize .cda file extensions?
I would like to put over 100 cds on my phone and I need to know what the best software is to do that.

Any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

When you connect you Atrix to the PC you will see a USB symbol in your notification bar at the top of the phone. Open the notification tray and select USB connection. This will bring up some options on how the phone will interact with your PC. Select USB Mass Storage for your PC to recognize your phone as a removable disk.

As for the .cda... you'll need to rip the CD's to your PC ( .mp3 format most likely the easiest way) so that you will be able to listen to them on your phone since .cda is mearly a pointer rather then an actual audio file. You can do this with Windows Media Player quite easily.

Hope this helps :)
