Basically, we have all read about the leaked update to ICS, and there are some of us that have not rooted our RAZR nor do we wish to do so. So is there a possibility of getting the ICS update without rooting? My X2 is rooted, and the only notable change I made was to get rid of the bloat, but with my RAZR (with smart actions) I have not had the need to root my device, and really dont want to just at this point. Is there an ICS update out right now that doesnt require rooting?

Just wait. If you don't want to root, you want to stay on the OTA path. It wont be too long before the real deal comes out. It's more work to try and roll back of this leak isn't the final release.

That was one of the reasons I didnt want to root. The process of using the Cheesecake app was really lofty, and I have heard of a lot of people on the net having massive issues with the app itself. Not to mention if something goes wrong during the update, you are basically hosed unless you know what you are doing.

According to the other thread, the official ICS is supposed start rolling out on Wed.
