If I, let's say, clear the app data of downloaded browsers like Firefox, will local backup on my OPPO device (or a similar backup app or any local back up of certain devices however it works) restore the session (app data) that was backed up?
I would assume that if the backup is in a different app, not related to or created by any of the browsers specifically, that whatever you do the browser apps will not affect these backups. I would go on to assume that the backups are not encrypted in any special way that once the browser was reset it couldn't recognize a backup for the same app and restore it.
I asked Google and Gemini agrees,
Yes, it's generally possible to reset a browser app and still recover a backup, especially if you've been using cloud synchronization or have backed up your browser data to a file. After resetting, you can often restore your data by signing back into your account or restoring the backup file. [1, 2]
