Anyone know what this is? And what it does?
I see it in AT&T Securities.

What do you mean that you see it in AT&T Securities? Is this a preinstalled app, or did you suddenly find it installed on the phone one day?

Here's more info: LocalBlox. Looks like it's all about data analytics.

Well I didn't have a lock screen enabled and att Securities always showed my device was not protected, clicked on it and it showed a list of apps, like fb, Instagram, etc and it was in the list.
I looked in my apps, it's not there. Looked in my downloaded apps in play store, not there, searched in play store, first thing that came up was Lookout, wondering if it's something to do with that.

Here is screen shot of it in list

Go to Settings>Apps, then tap Menu>Show System. Does LocalBlox show up now? If so, then it's a preinstalled bloatware app from AT&T.

I did what you suggested, it's not there.
It shows a (x) beside it like I can delete it.
I did not download it, unless it's used in another app.
Don't know if I should delete or leave it. Lol

That 'X' on your screenshot won't remove the app, it will just remove it from the Security app search. Weird that you can't find it under all apps.

What I read says that Localblox is like a Facebook app for neighbourhoods, but I can't find how it's installed, maybe part of your carrier bloatware.

Just in case, go to your security settings and see if it listed under device administrators.

It might be integrated into the system. Look through all of the apps that start with "com.android" and see if any of those include "localblox" in the app name as well.

Oh, true, good idea. You can also use the search in settings which can find partial strings. Type "local" and see what you get.
